We helped a $300mm Global Manufacturer evaluate all their business lines to see which had the potential to grow their profitability and which were key core-competencies in the organization.
The review encompassed all product lines, manufacturing facilities and markets.
It revealed three categories of product lines.
- Some were performing well and contributing the most to the bottom line, so we made sure to provide support to these.
- Some nonperformers had unrealized potential for growth, so we developed a strategic plan to improve the value of these lines.
- Other nonperforming lines did not show so much promise, and we developed disposition plans for these.
These strategies helped the company surpass the average annual growth numbers for their industry by a substantial margin.
